We keep our policies transparent so you know what you're agreeing to. 

Cancellation Policy

Month-to-month: Submit your cancellation in writing at least 14 days before your billing date. Re-enrolling within one calendar year carries a $100 admin fee.

  • Annual agreements: Early termination fee equals the difference between the annual and month-to-month rate.

  • Accepted reasoning for early termination: Relocation more than 15 miles (proof required) or medical exemption (doctor's note required).

Refunds & Membership Changes

  • Membership fees cover access to available services. Unused time is not refundable. Members can hold one active membership at a time — changes to your membership type end the previous one and carry a $100 admin fee.

  • Holds let you pause your monthly membership without canceling — but it's worth explaining how they work, because they're not quite the same as "paying for nothing"

  • Courtesy holds (vacation, work travel, scheduling gaps): $25/month for temporary pauses. You're paying to hold your spot, not for class attendance. We typically run at full capacity, and active enrollments get balanced against returning members — so the hold fee keeps your place in line when you come back.

  • Holds require a defined end date — minimum one month,starting after any current paid time no indefinite pauses. Annual memberships are not eligible for holds, since they're already discounted below the month-to-month rate.

  • Injury holds: If you're injured while training at JJC, the courtesy hold fee is waived for the duration of your recovery.

  • The standard 15 days notice applies to All Holds.

Processing fees

  • Processing fees apply depending on your payment method: approximately 3.5% for credit card and 1.5% for ACH withdrawals. We pass these through at cost — we don't mark them up.

  • ​We do not accept : Cash, Venmo, Zelle, or Cash App

  • If you choose ACH withdraw as you default payment, you must place a credit card on file as a backup payment option

  • A $2 per day late fee applies to all delinquent billing

Gift certificates

  • Available in any denomination. Applicable toward any membership, punch pack, or merchandise. Purchase online or at the academy.
