WHO IT'S FOR
This program is for you if...
You've never trained before.
This is the right place to start. The curriculum is built specifically for first-day beginners — no athletic background or fitness level required.
You want structure, not chaos
Every class fits into a larger project. You'll know what you're working on, why it matters, and how it connects to what came before.
You're returning after a break
Whether it's been three months or three years, Fundamentals is where most returning students rebuild their foundation and find their groove again.
A curriculum that actually progresses.
THE APPROACH
We teach in projects — focused arcs of related material that build on each other, with clear goals and visible progress.
Seed Techniques
O1
Each block of classes focuses on a specific position or theme. You learn a complete system rather than disconnected moves.
Live Application in Every Class
02
Drilling alone doesn't build skill. Every class includes positional sparring so you apply what you learned at training intensity.
Honest feedback
03
Coaches walk the mats, correct technique in real time, and answer questions during class. You won't be left guessing whether you're doing it right.
Digital Assistance
04
We use modern technology to reinforce the lesson. Review class before you arrive, watch it after to refresh what you've learned. Take notes or message your coach a question.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
The full game, in the right order.
Fundamentals covers every major position in Jiu Jitsu through a rotating curriculum. By the end of your first cycle, you'll have a working understanding of where you are on the mat and what to do from there.
Guard retention & recovery
How to keep your guard, recover it when it's passed, and use it as a base for attacks.
Passing the guard
The core methods of getting around someone's legs to dominant positions.
Top-position control
Side control, mount, back — how to maintain dominant positions and transition between them.
Escapes & defense
What to do when you're stuck on the bottom. Frame, breathe, escape — in that order
Core submissions
The high-percentage submissions every BJJ practitioner needs: chokes, armlocks, and the principles behind them.
Takedowns & stand-up
Integrated wrestling and judo basics so you can start a roll from your feet, not just from your knees.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Before you book.
Do I need any experience or fitness level?
No. The Fundamentals program is built specifically for adults walking in for the first time, with zero athletic background required. We'll meet you wherever you are — physically, technically, mentally.
What do I wear to my first class?
Athletic clothes you can move in — shorts, t-shirt, leggings. No gi is required for your trial week.
How quickly will I progress?
Most students feel competent in the basic positions within their first month, and competent rolling within three months of consistent training. The curriculum is designed to make progress visible — you'll feel it.
Is it safe? I don't want to get hurt.
Jiu Jitsu is one of the lowest-injury martial arts when taught properly. We start every student with safety basics — how to tap, how to fall, how to communicate with training partners. Your training partners are people, not opponents.
When can I move up to Advanced?
Eight weeks. Once you've completed your first eight weeks in Fundamentals, you're cleared to attend Advanced — but most students don't choose between the two. They train both. Our curriculum runs on a 12-week cycle, so attending Fundamentals and Advanced together gives you the same material from two angles: foundational depth in one, technical exploration in the other.
READY TO TRAIN?
Start with the free week.
No pressure, no hard sell. Just one week to get a feel for the space, the coaches, the art.
